A women-owned brand of protein bars made to support fertility, pregnancy and postpartum. The only thing the client provided was the PDF files of their packaging. No images, no fonts, no brand style, no previous website to start from.
Results
- Starting assets — packaging files only
- Packaging — vector, 4 packs
- Templates — 7 + cart drawer
- Images — all built from scratch
- Site — live
STEP 01
Rebuild the packaging in vector
The packaging PDFs were the only source material, so every pack was rebuilt in vector: front, back and nutrition panel for each flavor and the variety pack. The pieces pulled from those files became the building blocks for the product imagery, the animations and the brand style.

STEP 02
Mix a color library
The packaging gave a starting point; the site needed a whole system. Each flavor got its own color (blueberry purple, cocoa brown, peanut orange) on a base of warm browns, so people can tell bars apart at a glance and every page has a rhythm.
Type was tested before settling: Work Sans against Afacad Flux across full homepage layouts. Afacad Flux won for its softer, friendlier shapes.

STEP 03
Bring the product to life
Every image on the site was built from scratch. I sourced stock lifestyle imagery and photoshopped the bars into each scene, so OVU looks real, warm and lived-in from day one: in hands, on tables, next to the people it's made for.

STEP 04
Explain fertility nutrition without the lecture
The ingredients are the reason to buy, so each one gets a short, warm explanation (myo-inositol, two-thirds of a cup of vegetables, folic acid, dates) with the bar it lives in, plus a simple comparison against ordinary protein bars.

STEP 05
Buy it once, or every month
There was no previous version to redesign, so every page was created from scratch: a collection showing every flavor and the variety pack, product pages built around ingredients and nutrition, and a subscription page for monthly delivery, all closing in a clean cart drawer.

STEP 06
Keep the conversation going
Fertility is a long journey, so the site keeps talking: an About page for the story behind the brand, a self-care blog, and a contact page that feels personal. As the tagline says, it takes a village.
